Can I restore my Word file?

I just finished my 100 pages research paper. I saved it as usual. I went to send it to my teacher as an attachment, and it was gone. Is there anything I can do to recover them?

Can i recover files from my deleted partition?

I used to have windows 7 on my lenovo laptop but it stuffed up so i put a windows 8 onto my laptop which turned out not to be genuine and i deleted all partitions while i was installing windows 8 and i called up lenovo and they said I need pay for, so is there any way i can bring that partition back PLZ HELP.

I reformatted a sd card deleting all photos off of it and then took approximately 1000 more pictures is it still possible to get the deleted photos back with some sort of software?
